Is it for me?
If you are tired of excessive pain in the back, neck and shoulders from enlarged breasts, then breast reduction is for you. Many patients have large bra strap marks in their shoulders, and are unable to stand up straight. The surgery is designed to reduce the pain and add shape to your body.

Does insurance cover the costs?
Yes, many insurance companies pay the majority of the fees, if you qualify by height, weight, body mass index, and tissue removal. Supporting letters from your primary care physician are usually required. Your surgery is done in a hospital with an overnight stay if permitted.

What can I expect?
Your breasts will be elevated so you will get a "lift" as well. We remove about half the breast tissue and leave a scar in the shape of an inverted "T". Many patients experience an immediate improvement following surgery. The final results and scar formation may take up to 6 months.
